I’m a print and broadcast journalist that has been published in BuzzFeed, Psychology Today, Pacific Magazine, San Diego CityBeat, Out There Podcast, and more.

Right now I’m a web producer with the award-winning web team at KPBS, a NPR and PBS affiliate. Previously I was a staff writer for Finance 101, a finance and business publication by 101 Network (FKA Novelty Media). I’ve been freelance writing for several years and have been heard on the air at at KPRI 102.1 FM in San Diego, California until the business closed.

Please see the Print and Radio sections for examples of my work.

I’m an alumni of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and the University of San Diego, California. At Columbia, I focused on digital journalism, radio production, and arts and culture writing. I completed an audio/print hybrid piece about small business incubators in New York City for my masters project. I participated in a weekly student-run radio program called Uptown Radio for WBAI 99.5 FM.

I graduated with a BA in Political Science and minor in History at the University of California, San Diego.  I was the promotions director, a DJ, and host of studio sessions at student-run radio station, KSDT.
